Test Results
We flew/tested the Rainbow Fountain Mega Easy Flyer in 4 to 5 MPH and 8 to 9 MPH.  In this wind range the kite went up easily and flew steady. The instructions state the recommended/optimum wind range to be 5 to 18 MPH . NOTE: We have not had the opportunity to fly this kite
in wind speeds of greater than 9 MPH.

The Mega Easy Flyer kite does not comes with flying line. We recommend 300 feet of 150 lb test flying line on a winder.  Assembly instructions are included.  The kite comes with a ripstop nylon bag which can be reused for storage. Note: We were unable to store the long tail of the delta back
into its bag after flying.  Also, with the spine inserted the
kite exceeds the length of the bag. A larger and wider bag is needed.

The dimensions of the kite are 108 inches wide x 263.5 inches long which includes its attached tail.

The kite requires no modifications to the bridle.  The keel has 2 attachment points for low and high wind conditions. 

The kite requires some assembly.

The two-piece fiberglass strut must be inserted into the spine under the velcro flap then slid towards the nose into a pocket. Note: We needed to apply considerable pressure to close the velcro flap and secure the strut/spine. Not sure if the strut is a little to long or the velcro flap is a little to short.

It includes a strong two-piece fiberglass cross-spar (strut) for increased durability. The strut is inserted in strong molded fittings. The leading edge struts were already in their correct location (at the end of the sleeve). This is documented in the instructions just in case your leading edge struts are improperly located towards the nose/front of the kite.  The leading edges
and nose are hemmed with dacron for increased durability. The frame
is fiberglass.

The sail is made of appliqued ripstop nylon.  The sail and tail are hemmed for increased durability.

Due to the large sail area and tail of this kite it lends itself best for visual appeal at a height of at least 100 feet or more.

We were very impressed at the amount of detailed applique for a kite at this price.

Summary: At a club member price of $62.20, the Mega Easy Flyer kite is a good value for adults who want something bigger and bolder than the Large Easy Flyer. It would make a good lifter for attaching line laundry.
