Test Results

We flew/tested the Giant Eel at wind speeds from about 8 to 15 MPH.  Within this range the kite flew best attached to the kite line (as line laundry) of a pilot kite (a large Sutton Flow Form or Premier Sled).

The dimensions of the kite are 9 feet wide x 48 feet high.

The kite requires no modifications to the bridle.  It is a fixed bridle.   The kite requires no assembly.  Just attach the kite to the line of your pilot kite.

This kite requires 500 pound test flying line (not included). 

The sail is made of ripstop nylon.

The large sail area and bold graphics/colors of this kite lends itself best for visual appeal at a height up to about 200 feet or more. 

Summary: The Premier Giant Eel is for experienced adult kite fliers who have some disposable income and want to make a splash at kite festivals.
